Aviatron, Inc. is seeking a procurement specialist to manage MROS and supplier relationships for aircraft component overhauls. You will monitor inventory levels, source suppliers, evaluate products, and issue purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and optimal margins.

Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, maintaining historical records, and coordinating with Product Management to align buys with inventory goals. Strong analytical and negotiation skills required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to monitor stock levels and manage supplier relations.
• Experience evaluating product quality and negotiating terms.
• Ability to issue PO and track orders in ERP/MRP.
• Proficiency with procurement software and MS Office.

Aviatron, Inc. takes pride in its’ key role of providing leadership in the use of quality Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) & Designated Engineering Representative (DER) parts on Air Cycle Machines for the largest Regional Jet Operators in the world. And in using quality PMA parts for the Air Cycle Machine’s rotating group on the CRJ & Dash 8 aircraft, we have achieved significant cost savings for our customers in the process without sacrificing quality or reliability. We endeavor to increase the availability of quality PMA parts to keep our customers’ costs low. Our capabilities encompass a wide range of manufacturers and aircraft components. Base salary range: $60,000-$68,000 annually, plus bonus potential, comprehensive health/dental/vision/Life and disability insurance, 401(k) match up to 6%, and Vacation, sick days, flexible work.

Overview Of The Position

Responsibility includes MROS and product supplies are adequately stocked and ordered. Negotiate with vendors and develop good working relationships with an array of suppliers in order ensure timely delivery of purchased products. In addition, store and maintain all required historical negotiation records.

• Manage Supplier Open Order Books
• Track/Expedite Purchase Orders
• Evaluate Supplier Performance
• Collaborate with Product Management to facilitate supplier selection through competitive bidding, leveraging business acumen and relationships, sourcing analysis, and negotiation skills.
• Ensure buys are aligning with the product line management and company inventory goals to produce appropriate margins
• Identify, interpret and adjust supply chain settings within the MRP system
