Job summary

Shellback Semiconductor Technology, LLC is seeking a full-time Buyer to support our Coopersburg, PA manufacturing operations. You will source and procure materials, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate with engineering, inventory, sales and finance to keep production on track.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of purchasing experience, strong MS Office skills (Excel), and excellent communication with vendors and internal teams to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing purchasing and inventory control processes.
• 2-3 years work experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication with vendors, customers, sales & marketing, and technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and services for the manufacturing facility.
• Establish alternative sources and negotiate delivery improvements.
• Investigate delays and coordinate with engineering, purchasing, inventory, sales and finance.
• Coordinate Engineering Change notifications with suppliers.
• Process rejected material and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shellback is looking for a full time Buyer responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials in support of our Coopersburg, PA manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

• Responsible for procurement of purchased materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and services in support of the manufacturing facility.
• Establish alternative sources for materials and services, negotiate with suppliers on delivery improvements, and proactively communicate delivery status to various company stakeholders.
• Investigate reasons for material delays, initiate corrective action and coordinate related problems with engineering, purchasing, inventory control, sales, and finance.
• Coordinate Engineering Change notifications with suppliers.
• Process rejected material and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficient in MS office suite (particularly Excel).
• Familiar with manufacturing, purchasing, and inventory control methods and processes.
• Ability to prioritize work and multi-task to meet the demands of the project schedule.
• Strong communication skills with vendors, customers, sales & marketing, and technical personnel.
