Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing, supplier relations, and cost-saving initiatives for our manufacturing operations. You will handle supplier negotiations, RFQs, and scheduling to ensure uninterrupted production.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business, 5+ years of purchasing experience, and strong communication and negotiation skills within a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in Excel/Access and ERP systems is a plus.

Job Summary:

Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Develops and maintains working relations with assigned suppliers. Negotiates contracts and specific conditions for delivery of parts, materials, or services. Expedites purchase orders and supplier materials to meet the needs of the Vishay Dale operations requirements. Manages multiple projects to drive cost savings, supplier improvement, and to identify alternative sources for purchased products. Assists with supplier visits as needed to ensure adherence to delivery requirements and continuity of supply.
