This stylish and sophisticated Forbes 4-Star hotel has brought a new standard of luxury to DC with 360 rooms, 32,000 sq ft of banquet space, and 5 food and beverage outlets, including a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby bar, club lounge, and in-room dining.

Classification: Full-Time

Shift: Various – must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: $29 per hour, based on experience and location.

Medical Insurance: Coverage available for you and your family.

Union Position: This position is part of the Local 25 Union, requiring full open availability. Schedule restrictions cannot be accommodated. Hours and schedule depend on seniority and business needs, and may vary weekly. Full-time hours are not guaranteed.

As a Food Runner, your responsibilities include setting and clearing tables, stocking service stations, assisting food servers, and ensuring excellent guest service and profitability. Specific tasks include:

• Assist food servers with table service, including serving beverages, breads, and transporting meals.
• Set and prepare tables, including folding napkins, cleaning, and arranging tableware.
• Ensure tableware is in good condition and report damages.
• Maintain and clean food stations.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
