Job summary

The Burleigh in Kennebunkport is seeking a Busser to join Kennebunkport Resort Collection’s food and beverage team. The Busser supports wait staff, maintains dining room cleanliness, and helps prepare tables for new guests in a busy setting.

This on-site role requires a focused, energetic individual who can multi-task, communicates well with the team, and provides timely service. We offer competitive wages ($8–$10/hr) and a range of benefits for both part-time and full-time staff.

• Must maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and co-workers
• Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff
• Must know how to prioritize and respond in a timely fashion
• Ensure that each customer is served efficiently and effectively
• Bussers must know the basic food ingredients of each dish
• Must be able to interact with others easily

Responsibilities

• Assist waiters with efficient delivery of food to the dining room
• Provide timely service and expedite the preparation of tables for new guests
• Meets or exceeds restaurant guest satisfaction measures and provides exceptional guest service
• Proactively relay all customer interactions and complaints to the Manager on duty
• Any other duties assigned by Supervisor
• Must be able to be on feet for the entire length of shift
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

The Burleigh in Kennebunkport is looking for Busser to join their team.This position requires a focused, motivated, efficient individual with the ability to multi-task in a busy setting. The supporting role of a Busser is an integral part of the Kennebunkport Resort Collection’s food and beverage team. Overall cleanliness of the restaurant, including restaurant dining rooms, common areas, and the outside dining areas, is the Busser’s major responsibility. The Busser must assist waiters with efficient delivery of food to the dining room; provide timely service, and expedite the preparation of tables for new guests.

Essential Job Functions:

• Must maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and co-workers
• Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff

• Ensure that each customer is served efficiently and effectively
• Bussers must know the basic food ingredients of each dish

Guest Service:

• Meets or exceeds restaurant guest satisfaction measures and provides exceptional guest service
• Proactively relay all customer interactions and complaints to the Manager on duty
• Must be a good example while working alongside team members

Additional Responsibilities:
