Job description

Job Title: Busser

Martis Camp Club is seeking a highly motivated and service-minded individual to join our team part-time for the Summer Season. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient, works well in a busy environment, is a true team player, and has previous fine dining restaurant experience.

Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to members and guests with impeccable timing and thoughtfulness.
• Assist your team by timely and thorough clearing and setting of the table as required by course or between seating.
• Protect members by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
• Prepare the room for dining and set decorations.
• Maintain table settings by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, maintaining water and beverage service, and being alert to member spills or other needs.
• Perform basic restaurant side-work and additional cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Promptly address service issues and refer members to management when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements:

• Current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Professional grooming and communication at all times.
• Polite and friendly engagement with members, guests, and staff.
• A valid signed work permit (if under 18 years old).

Physical requirements:

• Stand and walk for up to 8 hours with breaks.
• Safely lift, carry, or transport dishes.
• Grip silverware, dishware, and drinkware safely.
• Kneel, bend, twist safely.
• Lift/carry up to 20 pounds.

WAGE RANGE: $16.50 - $18 per hour plus gratuities.
