XRG is seeking a Busser in California to support servers by clearing and resetting tables, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth service flow. The role emphasizes teamwork, guest care, and efficient station management in a fast-paced setting.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Clear and reset tables efficiently to optimize table turns.
• Know table/seat/station numbers and proper setups.
• Keep assigned areas clean and stocked; manage side stations.
• Work as a team to assist guests and colleagues.
• Ensure stock is replenished during shifts.
• Respond to guest concerns and escalate when needed.
• Clean spills immediately; never leave spills unattended.
• Move furniture as directed by management.
• Report and record any breakage.
• Know proper maintenance and use of equipment.
• Perform opening/running/closing side work duties.
• Assist teammates with opening/running/closing side work.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

PURPOSE

The busser is responsible for efficiently clearing, cleaning and resetting tables, while assisting food servers in all aspects of guest table service, maximizing table turns and maintaining restaurant flow.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clear and reset tables efficiently before, during and after service periods to turn tables
• Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers and proper table set ups
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of their assigned areas and side stations
• Work as a team, assisting all guests’ and team members’ needs and inquiries
• Ensure that all necessary stock is being replenished during the shift
• Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary
• Clean and dry spills immediately upon occurrence; never leaving spills unattended
• Move furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipment
• Ensure that any breakage is reported and recorded
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
• Complete opening/running/closing side work duties as assigned
• Assist teammates with opening/running/closing side work duties upon request
• Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned
