Job summary

Dave & Buster’s is seeking a team member to support bartenders and servers by keeping areas clean and restocking supplies, delivering fast, friendly service, and helping create a fun guest experience.

This role requires weekend work, strong communication, the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and a positive, customer-focused attitude. Previous restaurant or bar experience is helpful but not required; full training provided.

• Friendly and able to smile; strong communication with Guests and team members.
• Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred, but not required.
• Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in an environment of fun.
• Keeps supervisor informed of problems and takes corrective action when needed.
• Creates a warm, fun atmosphere for Guests and Team Members.
• Adheres to the company’s sanitation procedures.
• Responsible for bus stand cleanliness and stocking; clears wait stations and empties trash as needed.
• Performs opening/closing duties, including party setup and supply preparation.
• Busses and resets tables; assists Guests by clearing dishes and refilling beverages.
• Maintains restrooms cleanliness and cleans high chairs; assists other Team Members as needed.

POSITION SNAPSHOT: Assists Bartenders and Servers by maintaining area cleanliness and providing necessary support to ensure fast, friendly and accommodating service.

NITTY GRITTY DETAILS:

• Deliver an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
• Creates a warm, fun atmosphere for Guests and Team Members.
• Adheres to company’s sanitation procedures.
• Responsible for bus stand cleanliness and stocking.
• Ensures wait stations remain clean.
• Empties trash and spot sweeps whenever floor needs it, or when a Manager requests.
• Performs opening/closing responsibilities, including party breakdown/duties.
• Restocks and prepares supplies for shift change and or close.
• Busses and resets tables.
• Offers assistance to Guests by clearing away dishes and glassware, and refilling beverages.
• Assists in party setup.
• Maintains cleanliness of restrooms, including restocking of supplies.
• Cleans high chairs and booster chairs.
• Assists other Team members as needed or when business needs dictate.
• Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends as required.
• Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred, but not required.
• Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team members.
