Job summary

Dave & Buster's is looking for team members to assist bartenders and servers, maintain a clean service area, and help ensure fast, friendly, and accommodating service for Guests. The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends in a lively, fast-paced environment.

We value friendly individuals who can clearly communicate with Guests and teammates, with priority given to those who have restaurant or bar experience.

Qualifications

• Friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights, or weekends.
• Clear communication with Guests and Team Members.
• Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred, but not required.
• Read and write handwritten notes; lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders and servers by maintaining area cleanliness and providing necessary support to ensure fast, friendly service.
• Keep buses and wait stations clean and restock supplies as needed.
• Open/close responsibilities including party setup and breakdown.
• Create a warm, fun atmosphere for Guests and Team Members.

Position Snapshot

Assists Bartenders and Servers by maintaining area cleanliness and providing necessary support to ensure fast, friendly and accommodating service.

Nitty Gritty Details

• Deliver an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
• Creates a warm, fun atmosphere for Guests and Team Members.
• Adheres to company's sanitation procedures.
• Responsible for bus stand cleanliness and stocking.
• Ensures wait stations remain clean.
• Empties trash and spot sweeps whenever floor needs it, or when a Manager requests.
• Performs opening/closing responsibilities, including party breakdown/duties.
• Restocks and prepares supplies for shift change and or close.
• Busses and resets tables.
• Offers assistance to Guests by clearing away dishes and glassware, and refilling beverages.
• Assists in party setup.
• Maintains cleanliness of restrooms, including restocking of supplies.
• Cleans high chairs and booster chairs.
• Assists other Team members as needed or when business needs dictate.
• Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends as required.
• Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred, but not required.
• Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team members.
