Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Busser/Server Assistant to support server staff and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area. You will clear tables, reset settings, and help ensure guests have a smooth experience while adhering to sanitation and safety standards.

Ideal candidates are reliable team players with strong customer service skills, able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in delivering excellent guest experiences across shifts. US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• You have basic math skills.
• You have legible handwriting.
• You can work well in a team.
• You have strong customer service and oral communication skills.
• You are frequently able to lift, carry, deliver and serve from trays weighing up to 50 pounds.
• You can balance serving tray on one hand while distributing orders to customers with the other.

Responsibilities

• Clear all used tableware, napkins and refuse from tables to bus station.
• Wipe tables, chairs and clears debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding table.
• Assist wait staff by refilling customers beverages and accommodating requests for additional condiments, food items or clean/fresh tableware.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked and orderly bus station at all times to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Retrieve cleaned dishes, glassware and utensils from the dish room and distribute to each service station to keep a ready supply for restaurant use.
• Must be able to identify and explain all dishes on current menus.
• Perform other duties including running dishes, sweeping, emptying trash, filling waters.
