Compass Group USA is seeking seasonal busser staff for Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA. The role supports servers, clears tables, and maintains station cleanliness. Schedule is seasonal with varied hours; online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Sets and clears restaurant tables; stocks all service stations; assists food servers with table service.
• Clears dirty tables, resets serviceware, and maintains stock and cleanliness of stations.
• Serves guests beverages, breads and butter, replenishes as necessary and assists servers with service.
• Transports dirty tableware to the dishwashing area.
• Performs general cleaning tasks and folds napkins to maintain stock.
• Restocks condiments and completes side work as assigned.
• Greet and seat guests and handle spills or special requests.

• We have an opening for seasonal BUSSER positions.
• Location: Longwood Gardens - 1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Note: online applications acceptedonly.
• Schedule: Seasonal; Wednesday through Monday, 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous restaurant experience is preferred.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Sets and clears restaurant tables; stocks all service stations; assists food servers with table service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quickly clears dirty table settings and prepares table for resetting; promptly and consistently resets all serviceware as prescribed.
• Maintains stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment, including silverware, linen and condiments; wipes down booths and chairs, moves tables and chairs, and cleans floors as necessary.
• Serves guests beverages, breads and butter and replenishes as necessary; assists servers with food and beverage service.
• Transports all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area.
• Performs any general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor.
• Folds napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
• Performs all assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, and greeting and seating guests.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
