Job summary

Sports & Social Bethesda is seeking a part-time Busser/Runner to support front-of-house operations at the Bethesda location. You will maintain clean service stations, clear and reset tables, and assist servers to ensure guests receive courteous, timely service.

Ideal candidates have prior restaurant experience, strong English communication, and basic math skills for transactions and accurate table counts. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. Tips supplement hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service and/or restaurant experience preferred.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Reading and writing abilities are utilized often to answer guest’s questions regarding the menu.
• Basic mathematical skills are used frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provide an energetic, outgoing, fun personality while maintaining professionalism.
• Support serving staff, assisting them in ensuring that all customer needs are met in an expedient, courteous, and professional manner.
• Maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift.
• Clear and clean tables in a timely manner.
• Reset tables according to specifications of location.
• Clear all empty tables and set tables for new guests.
• Restock service stations.
