Job summary

The Straz Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Tampa is seeking a part-time Busser to support dining room service, clear and reset tables, and assist servers. The role involves a five-hour shift and opportunities to work evenings and weekends in indoor and outdoor locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Prior busser experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Clear and set tables; assist servers with table service.
• Run food and beverages to guests.
• Assist in pre-bussing and resetting tables.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
