Job summary

Mandolin Aegean Bistro in Miami is seeking a Busser to support runners, servers and management by keeping tables clean and reset, restocking flatware and napkins, and relaying guest needs to the waitstaff. Bar and dining areas must be stocked and cleaned throughout service.

A successful candidate will be efficient, attentive, and possess strong customer service skills. Position requires 1+ year experience and flexible weekends; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; physical stamina

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Flexible schedule and open to weekends/holidays.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Detail oriented with multitasking in fast-paced environments.
• Basic verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Detail all tables before service begins and ensure neat place settings.
• Ensure appropriate table settings and china for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or feast service.
• Stock stations with small plates, water and wine glasses, and silverware; keep bread warmer full.
• Maintain section and ensure bread and water delivery upon guest arrival; assist other sections as needed.
• Clear tables and reset for new courses; wipe down and re-set tables between courses.
• Polish silverware; store pot wash according to local standards.
• Complete side work before/after service as per side work sheets.
• Ensure bar area glassware, silverware, and plateware are stocked.
• Remove dirty linen and keep trash area clean.
