Job summary

Plymouth Harbor Incorporated in Sarasota, FL is seeking a part-time server assistant to support our dining program at 700 John Ringling Blvd. The flexible 3:30pm–9:00pm shift offers a first step toward higher paying server positions.

You will clear tables, reset settings, retrieve orders, assist with side work, maintain the salad bar, and help with events and workshops. No prior experience is needed, but you should be organized and detail oriented to ensure clean, friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Clear dirty dishes from tables in a timely manner.
• Set or reset each table properly, as shown on the table setting layout.
• Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and place them in the appropriate station for pick up by the Server.
• Perform side work correctly as assigned according to side work guidelines and sanitation checklist.
• Check and replenish the salad bar, as needed.
• Maintain friendly, professional relations with residents and guests at all times.
• Assist, when necessary, set-up and break-down of special events.
• Attend and participate in workshops, seminars, and mandatory in-services as approved or required.
• Maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a clean, sanitary and organized manner.
