Job summary

Pacific Catch, Inc. is seeking a part-time Busser to support our dining team with outstanding hospitality. You will greet Guests, promptly clear and reset tables, and maintain spotless dining areas under supervision of the General Manager.

The ideal candidate is punctual, reliable, and able to work weekends. No required degree beyond high school; hospitality experience is a plus and cross-training may occur in other roles.

Qualifications

• High school education required; hospitality or related degrees are a plus.
• 1+ year of busser experience preferred but not required.
• Weekend availability is a must.

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must

COMPENSATION

$17.75 Per Hour

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BUSSER INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Ability to engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with Guests. Respond to questions—know where to find information if unknown to you


• Clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings (silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins), and as needed


• Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to ensure minimum breakage


• Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas and common areas (tables, counters, equipment, restroom, and floors) at all times


• During any down time, proactively assist other team members or as requested by manager


• Notify management of any comments, suggestions or complaints from any Guests

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus


• The ideal candidate will have 1+ year previous experience in a Busser position, but it is not required

PHYSICAL

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length


• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
