Job summary

Lakewood National Golf Club, part of Troon, in Bradenton, FL, is hiring a part-time Busser. You will set and clear tables, assist servers, and maintain a clean dining area in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, the ability to work well in a team, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. You should be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds; a Food Handler Card and OLCC Service Permit are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Busser or in a related position in a restaurant or hotel.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables in a timely manner, ensuring that each table is clean and properly set with utensils, condiments, and other necessary items.
• Assist servers with food and beverage service, delivering food and drinks to tables, and clearing plates and glasses.
• Ensure that the dining area is clean and organized at all times, including cleaning spills and maintaining a tidy appearance of the dining room.
• Communicate with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly to guests.
• Handle customer complaints and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and disposal of food, and use of cleaning chemicals.
