Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a dedicated Busperson for our Charter 18 Modern Tavern location. The role involves clearing and resetting tables, delivering beverages, greeting guests, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure smooth service from kitchen to guest.

The ideal candidate will have restaurant experience, be able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide excellent customer service and communication.

Qualifications

• Past restaurant industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift, maneuver, and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean tables by removing soiled dishes, silverware, glassware, and refuse and wiping tabletop and seats.
• Set up tables according to established standards.
• Receive and fulfill beverage orders.
• Greet guests seated in assigned station.
• Receive and fulfill/refill drink orders from guests.
• Remove dishes from tables and place in bus tub and transport to kitchen dishwashing area.
• Maintain cleanliness of side station and all work areas.
• Ensure smooth and timely flow of orders from kitchen to guest.
• Check dishes for accuracy and presentation.
• Assist in final dish preparation.
• Maintain fast service and uphold sanitation standards.
• Complete side work as needed.

The BUSPERSON is responsible for:

Clean tables by removing soiled dishes, silverware, glassware, and refuse and wiping tabletop and seats. Set up tables according to established standards. Receive and fulfill beverage orders.

• Greet guests seated in assigned station.
• Receive and fulfill/refill drink orders from guests.
• Remove dishes from tables and place in plastic bus tub (approx. 40 lbs. in weight) in a timely manner.
• Set up tables according to established standards.
• Transport filled bus tubs to kitchen dishwashing area.
• Maintain cleanliness of side station and all work areas.
• Ensuring the smooth and timely flow of orders from Kitchento the Guest.
• Checking dishes for accuracy and presentation.
• Assisting in final dish preparation.
• Maintaining fast service.
• Upholding quality and sanitationstandards
• Completing side work as needed
