Job summary

Hantzmon Wiebel LLP seeks an experienced valuation professional to manage multiple engagements, develop financial models, and lead client relationships across transaction advisory and strategic initiatives.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, collaborating with attorneys and advisors, and delivering high-quality valuation reports with clear communication of complex concepts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years in business valuation, transaction advisory, corporate finance, public accounting, or related field.
  • Strong financial analysis, valuation modeling, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.
  • Professional valuation credential (ASA, ABV, CVA, CFA) or progress toward certification preferred.
  • Experience leading engagements and supervising staff preferred.
  • A client-focused professional with strong business acumen and sound judgment.
  • A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring and developing others.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills combined with intellectual curiosity.
  • Confidence working directly with business owners, attorneys, financial advisors, and other professional service providers.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple valuation engagements from planning to final report.
  • Coordinate engagement timelines, staffing, and deliverables.
  • Serve as primary contact for clients during engagements.
  • Lead and review engagements for transaction advisory, succession planning, shareholder matters, litigation support, and tax planning.
  • Develop and review financial models using accepted valuation methodologies and analyze data.
  • Evaluate performance, industry trends, risk factors, and value drivers to support conclusions.
  • Prepare and review valuation reports and supporting documentation.
  • Present findings in a clear, practical manner.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and internal professionals to support client objectives.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior valuation team members.
  • Review staff work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
  • Assist with training, process improvements, and growth of the valuation practice.
  • Support business development through networking, proposals, and relationship building.
  • Identify opportunities to expand advisory services and strengthen client relationships.
