In Verizon Business Group (VBG), we are building a world-class Business Transformation organization focused on solving the biggest challenges impacting VBG’s ability to hold market share, grow revenue, make a market and drive margin. We challenge ourselves to solve top-of mind strategic questions, collaborating with leadership and experts across the organization. We are responsible for challenging the status quo, looking beyond the horizon, and making the future real. We strategize, guide, and work across functions to ensure VBG Transformation delivers material value. In this role, you will engage at executive-levels to provide expertise to plan and execute to ensure successful outcomes and meet financial targets.
This role will be responsible for challenging and re‑engineering conventional business processes, policies, and ways of working that lead to large-scale transformational change. Leveraging tools and methodologies for numerous large initiatives, to transform data into insights.
Ideating, designing, and developing large, cross‑functional transformation initiatives aimed at increasing revenue, reducing expense, enhancing business efficiency, and improving customer experience.
Leveraging critical thinking to understand business challenges using sharp problem‑solving skills to support the design and execution of new solutions that address pain points in the business.
Delivering Lean Six Sigma and Design Thinking to conduct current-state assessments, evaluate pain points, develop business cases, and develop customer‑centric solutions.
Crafting and delivering actionable recommendations to executive leadership through data-driven analysis, visualization for decision-making, and concise storytelling.
Collaborating to build analytic solutions focused on integrating AI/ML into critical business decisions and processes to elevate value‑creation and customer experience.
Managing complex programs and driving cross‑functional teams to meet business objectives and influence co‑workers while fostering strong working relationships.
Thriving in a dynamic environment, meet deadlines, and simultaneously work on multiple projects.
Translating complex ideas and expressing them in concise, simple to understand ways.
Supporting others by sharing best practices and providing real‑time coaching on business transformation methodologies and tools.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job‑related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part‑time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full‑time schedule is: $116,500.00 - $223,000.00.
