Job summary

The role involves planning, teaching technical skills, developing lesson plans, and continuously updating curriculum to reflect industry trends and job opportunities. Strong collaboration with partners and ongoing assessment are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years full-time experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, advertising, retail merchandising, graphic design, social media management, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing business careers.
• Certificate from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, or willingness to pursue and obtain.
• Reports to Principal/Deputy-Director and Vocational Deans.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and provide learning experiences within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Teach technical skills and knowledge for student competence in the field.
• Develop lesson plans and manage class time to include demonstrations, hands-on practice, and assessments.
• Improve instruction, curriculum, and equipment to stay current with trends and job opportunities.
• Maintain records, attend meetings, and communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
