Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Business Systems Infrastructure Coordinator in Costa Mesa, CA to build and own the technical spine that DivOps and the division rely on. This role is the first technical owner of MD's business infrastructure and will stand up tools, secure spaces, and ensure durable, auditable processes.

You will integrate Jira, Confluence, and other core tools, design workflows, manage access, and ship internal tools end-to-end.

Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years in technical operations, IT/systems administration, program coordination, or a similar builder-operator role, with a track record of taking end-to-end ownership.
  • Comfortable in both a project-management tool and a Linux terminal. You don't need to be a full-stack software engineer, but you can administer Linux, script, and integrate via APIs, and you're not afraid of the command line.
  • SaaS and identity administration experience. You can manage Okta and OpSec groups, stand up and host an internal tool, and debug it when it breaks.
  • Collaborative-software power user. You are the person on your team who builds the dashboards, organizes the spaces, and makes the tooling work for everyone (Jira, Confluence, or equivalents).
  • Strong process and logical-thinking skills. You design clean processes, manage permissions and access levels, and keep data organized and audit-ready.
  • Strong communicator and enabler. You can translate a team's messy workflow into a structured system, and you enjoy onboarding and training others.
  • Self-starter who operates with autonomy and judgment beyond the title. You move with about 60% of the information, ship, and iterate, and you will follow up a third time to drive accountability without positional authority.
  • Detail-oriented. You track dozens of parallel workstreams and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Ability to work fully on-site at the Costa Mesa, CA facility, and to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Work the deficiency loop with the team. Partner with the DivOps team to surface where tooling, governance, and information flow are breaking down, prioritize against the team's operating rhythm, and close the gaps continuously.
  • Own the collaboration and business-systems stack. Act as the primary administrator and champion for the division's core tools (Jira, Foundry, TeamCenter, GitHub, Confluence, Quip, dashboards, and internally hosted business systems).
  • Build and host internal tools end-to-end. Stand up, host, automate, and integrate internally developed division tools. Script and wire them together via APIs.
  • Design and optimize workflows. Translate real-world engineering, product, and program workflows into clean Jira boards, custom fields, automation rules, and Confluence spaces.
  • Manage access and security. Own user provisioning, role-based permissions, and Okta/OpSec group management. Ensure secured-program hygiene.
  • Champion data hygiene. Audit systems to archive stale projects, clean up permissions, and align tracking tools with real-time program status.
  • Enable and train the team. Build user guides, document best practices, and run onboarding for durable handoffs.
  • Coordinate across the org. Collaborate with Maritime/MDI, CorpTech, and CISO on security and platform decisions.

Job description

Business Systems Infrastructure Coordinator

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Maneuver Dominance (now Air Maneuver) Division is one of the company's fastest-growing divisions. We field the next generation of autonomous air vehicle systems, including Thunder, a fully autonomous Group 5 VTOL platform designed as a loyal wingman for manned rotary-wing aircraft, and Omen, an advanced Group 3 platform for persistent ISR and SAR. The division pairs aerospace, mechanical, and electrical engineers with software, robotics, AI, sensor-fusion, and data specialists to build vehicle-centric hardware and software that expands what our customers can do. Division Operations (DivOps) is the team that lets that division scale. We organize and synthesize the business tools, governance, and information flow into and out of the division. We are the operational connective tissue underneath the engineering. This role is the DivOps team's technical arm.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Business Systems Infrastructure Coordinator to build and own the technical spine that the rest of DivOps and the division run on: the business systems, tooling, access, and secured-program infrastructure that everyone depends on and no one wants to run. This is not an IT ticket-taker and it is not a pure software role. You sit with the DivOps team to find where tooling, governance, or information flow is breaking down, then you develop, improve, and maintain the systems that fix it. You collaborate with the team, and you act on your own when you spot the gap first. You are a peer building alongside DivOps, not a service desk building underneath it. When the division says "we need a tool for X," you stand up X, host it, secure it, and make it durable. You are the first technical owner of MD's business infrastructure and the first hire of an eventual team, so you build for handoff from day one. You'll be based in Costa Mesa, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Work the deficiency loop with the team. Partner with the DivOps team to surface where tooling, governance, and information flow are breaking down, prioritize against the team's operating rhythm, and close the gaps continuously. Improve and maintain what you build instead of standing something up and walking away.
  • Own the collaboration and business-systems stack. Act as the primary administrator and champion for the division's core tools (Jira, Foundry, TeamCenter, GitHub, Confluence, Quip, dashboards, and internally hosted business systems), keeping them accurate, secure, and useful.
  • Build and host internal tools end-to-end. Stand up, host, automate, and integrate internally developed division tools. Script and wire them together via APIs and keep them running without babysitting them.
  • Design and optimize workflows. Translate real-world engineering, product, and program workflows into clean Jira boards, custom fields, automation rules, and Confluence spaces.
  • Manage access and security. Own user provisioning, role-based permissions, and Okta/OpSec group management. Treat access, OpSec, and secured-program hygiene as first-class engineering work, so team members get quick access to what they need while secured-program data stays protected. Support secured spaces and related secured-program considerations.
  • Champion data hygiene. Audit systems regularly to archive stale projects, clean up permissions, and keep tracking tools matched to the real-time status of programs.
  • Enable and train the team. Build user guides, document best practices, and run onboarding so new and existing team members use the systems effectively and consistently. Build for handoff to the second and third person on the team.
  • Coordinate across the org. Work with Maritime / MDI counterparts on shared tooling patterns and playbooks, with CorpTech on platform decisions, and with CISO on security posture. Adapt what already works in the larger organization instead of building parallel systems that diverge.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Direct experience administering Jira (workflows, custom fields, permissions) and Confluence.
  • Scripting and automation background (Python, Bash, or similar) and comfort integrating systems via REST APIs.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) familiarity with Okta, active directories, or role-based permission models.
  • Builder-operator background: military IT/comms, DevOps-adjacent, or a technical PM who codes.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced technology, hardware-engineering, aerospace, or defense environment.
  • Systems migration and implementation: introducing a new tool to a team, migrating data between platforms, or auditing legacy software access.
  • Experience with secured-program environments, secured spaces, or classified systems support.
  • Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
