• Identify opportunities to improve processes, system utilization, and decision-making; measure with KPIs.
• Design practical JD Edwards solutions with ERP team to address business needs and objectives.
• Provide hands-on support and training to drive adoption of new functionality and enhancements.
• Lead JD Edwards projects from requirements through implementation, managing scope, budget, timelines, and quality.
• Maintain documentation and data quality; ensure JD Edwards data is accurate and standardised.
• Stay current with JD Edwards releases and best practices; identify new capabilities delivering value.

LOCATION:

This on-site position is located in the company’s Doylestown, PA corporate HQ. Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates who are currently in the USA.

ROLE:

The Financial Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in optimizing and enhancing JD Edwards to support evolving business needs, with a focus on accounting, finance, and process improvement. This is an opportunity to partner directly with business stakeholders, translate strategic objectives into effective solutions, and make a meaningful impact through strong relationships, independent problem-solving, and high-quality delivery.

IDEAL PROFILE:

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with JD Edwards financial modules / processes, strong relationship-building and listening skills, an ability to work independently, and a high attention to detail to ensure quality of delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with the Business: Work directly with stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize requirements, and turn them into clear, actionable solutions. Document requirements, test cases, exceptions, and acceptance criteria, and create process maps when needed.
• Know the Business: Understand key financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, cost accounting, financial reporting, and daily accounting operations.
• Drive Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, decision-making, system utilization, and efficiency. Help the business get more value from JD Edwards and measure results through meaningful KPIs.
• Design JDE Solutions: Use your JD Edwards expertise to evaluate options and work with the ERP development team to design practical solutions that address business needs and support company objectives.
• Support & Train Users: Provide hands‑on support and training, help users get the most from JD Edwards, and drive adoption of new functionality, automation, and system enhancements.
• Lead JDE Projects: Take ownership of JD Edwards projects from requirements through implementation. Keep projects on track with respect to scope, budget, timelines, and quality, while keeping stakeholders informed along the way.
• Keep Improving: Stay focused on what can be done better — whether it’s a business process, system capability, or way of working. Bring proven best practices into the organization and help turn them into measurable improvements.
• Maintain Documentation & Data Quality: Keep process and user documentation current while helping ensure JD Edwards data is accurate, consistent, standardised, and reliable.
• Stay Current with JDE: Keep up with JD Edwards releases, new functionality, and industry best practices. Identify new capabilities that can provide real value to the business.
• Support Security & Compliance: Help ensure JD Edwards processes and solutions meet applicable security, regulatory, and IS requirements, including change management, service requests, and outage tracking.
• Connect the Dots: Serve as the JDE subject matter expert for finance and work across Global Information Systems, Operations, Application Engineering, finance, and other business teams to keep technology and business priorities aligned.
• Deliver Business Impact: Help build and enhance system capabilities that enable growth, improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, and make teams more efficient.

IDEAL BACKGROUND:

• JDE Experience: 4+ years as an ERP Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting JD Edwards applications.
• JDE Expertise: Strong hands‑on knowledge of the JD Edwards platform, specifically in accounting or finance. Experience with other JD Edwards modules is a plus.
• Technical Understanding: Experience with JDE configuration, customization, integrations, and development tools. You understand how JDE works with the broader technology environment.
• Problem Solver: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to take complex business requirements and turn them into practical, effective solutions.
• Project Experience: Proven ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects while keeping scope, timelines, and priorities on track.
• Strong Communicator: Comfortable working with a global team and communicating effectively with people across different functions, locations, and levels of the organization.
• Relationship Builder: Able to build credibility and strong working relationships with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Leadership, and external vendors.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Location:

Reside within a reasonable daily commute to Doylestown, PA or be motivated to relocate to the area upon hire. (Relocation is available from within the USA)
