This hands-on internship is ideal for a curious, analytical student interested in leveraging data and technology to solve business challenges.**Day-to-Day Responsibilities*** Participate in meetings with business stakeholders, Business Systems Analysts, data engineers, and BI team members to gather requirements and understand business challenges.* Assist in identifying business needs and developing analytical solutions that support informed decision-making.* Build, configure, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions.* Support the redesign and migration of existing reporting assets from Power BI to the Sigma platform.* Perform data modeling and analytics development activities to support reporting and visualization needs.* Customize curated datasets for analytical and operational reporting purposes.* Leverage reporting, visualization, and AI-enabled tools to deliver meaningful business insights.* Develop and maintain documentation for dashboards, reporting processes, requirements, and rollout activities.* Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of recommended solutions.* Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure reporting solutions meet business requirements and user expectations.**Required Qualifications*** Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Accounting, or a related field.* Open to students of all academic classifications (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior).* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data.* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including experience using pivot tables and working with large datasets.* Demonstrated interest in business analysis, analytics, reporting, or data-driven decision-making.* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.* Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn new technologies and business processes.* Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to support daily local travel to customer locations and company events.* Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools preferred.* Exposure to data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, or data modeling concepts preferred.* Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and an interest in leveraging technology to improve business outcomes preferred.* Previous coursework or projects involving business analytics, finance, reporting, or data visualization preferred. **Compensation and Benefits*** Starting hourly pay for this position is set based on location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education.
