AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to analyze systems, elicit requirements, and translate business needs into detailed specs and user stories for OT systems. This hybrid role is based in Vancouver, WA, with onsite 1-2 days per week and a 2+ year consultant engagement.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's; or 10+ with an Associate's; or 12+ without a Bachelor's, plus strong documentation and API testing experience. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• With Bachelor's degree, 8 years of experience required; with Associate's 10 years; without Bachelor's 12 years.
• Experience in SDLC for high availability environments.
• 3+ years in change/configuration management tools/systems.
• 3+ years in compliance/audit support.
• 1 year in process development and rollout.
• Minimum 3 years in systems/requirements analysis on enterprise apps using Java/JEE and/or .NET.
• Experience mapping data structures (XML/JSON) and testing APIs (Postman).
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID required.

Job description

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Business Systems Analyst and perform systems analysis, interfacing with users to support functional requirements development, analysis of tools and serves as the primary liaison between Transmission Technology business units and the development team. Leads the elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation of business and functional requirements for new and existing Operational Technology systems. Translate complex business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories for system development and enhancement projects.

This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Vancouver, Washington with onsite 1 - 2 days per week.

The hourly pay rate for this position is between $65.00 and $77.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, Engineering or a directly related field is preferred.
• With an applicable Bachelor's degree, 8 years of experience is required.
• With an applicable Associate's Degree, 10 years of experience is required.
• Without an applicable Bachelor's degree, 12 years of experience is required.
• Experience should include demonstrated analysis work, requirements engineering and operations management.
• At least 5 years of experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for a high availability environment.
• 3 plus years of experience in the use of change and configuration management tools/systems.
• 3 plus years of experience in compliance and/or audit support.
• 1 year experience with process development and roll-out.
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing systems/requirements analysis on enterprise applications utilizing Java/JEE and/or .NET (.NET Core/ASP.NET) architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and map data structures (XML, JSON) and test application endpoints (APIs) using tools like Postman within Java/.NET environments.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of and experience working with:
• Demonstrated ability to act as a principal liaison between business stakeholders, cyber security teams, system administrators, and software developers to translate complex technical requirements into business impacts and vice versa.
• Proven track record of drafting high-quality, professional technical documentation, including System Requirements Specifications (SRS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), system design documents, and user manuals.
• Systems development and maintenance environments.
