Job summary

CSC is hiring a Business Analyst to join our Agile development team in Wilmington, DE with a hybrid work model. You will partner with stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable software solutions and drive requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, plus experience in agile environments. You will help manage the backlog, support UAT, and ensure successful adoption of solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience as a Business Analyst on Agile software development teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams to identify business challenges and translate them into scalable software solutions.
• Independently analyze complex business problems, research potential solutions, and implement best path forward.
• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops, stakeholder meetings, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, and solution reviews.
• Develop documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, wireframes, and functional specifications.
• Understand complex business processes and system functionality as a SME.
• Collaborate daily with developers, QA engineers, architects, and Product Owners to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.
• Help maintain and prioritize the product backlog by identifying dependencies, risks, and business value.
• Lead business process analysis and future-state design initiatives to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, validate delivered functionality, and ensure solutions meet objectives.
• Support change-management with communication, training, documentation, and adoption.
• Monitor solution effectiveness after implementation and identify opportunities for improvement.

We are looking for a highly analytical, self-driven Business Analyst to join our Agile development team as we continue building the next generation of CSC's License Pro application.

Locations: Wilmington, DE or Logan, UT
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
