Responsibilities

• Account and system data administration – create and maintain customer accounts, contacts, locations, products, and pricing; modify records as needed.

• Pricing changes – apply CPI/OPI increases across billable items and meet effective dates.
• Assigned division support – serve as day-to-day system contact for divisions and plants; coordinate with sales, ops, and billing.
• End-user support – own and resolve tickets; set up new user access; guide users to closure.
• Training – train end users on system functionality and new features.
• Data validation – validate data using system reports and correct quality issues.
• Reporting – support internal and external reporting, including pricing and data validation reports.
• Process/documentation/projects – help standardize processes and document changes; assist in upgrades and conversions.

Business Systems Analyst

Salary Range: $58,000.00 To $68,000.00 Annually

Position Overview:

The Business Applications Analyst supports and administers the enterprise linen management systems used across HLSG. Assigned a group of business divisions and plant locations, the role serves as a day-to-day systems partner—ensuring accurate customer, contract, product, and pricing data; resolving application issues and requests; supporting reporting and training; and participating in system enhancements, implementations, and conversions.

The accuracy of this work is what makes the rest of the business billable. Customer, contract, and pricing data entered here flows directly into invoicing, route operations, and customer reporting, which means a setup error does not stay inside IT—it reaches the customer. The position calls for someone who is deliberate with detail, comfortable owning a queue, and willing to upscale an unclear contract term rather than guess at it.

Position Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Account and system data administration – Create and maintain customer accounts, contacts, locations, products, and pricing in the enterprise linen management systems; modify existing records and remove decommissioned data.
• Contract-driven system updates – Update the systems to reflect new contracts, amendments, and renewals, translating contract terms into accurate account, product, and pricing setup. Participate in intake calls for new accounts and renewals to confirm all required information is gathered upfront.
• Pricing increases – Complete scheduled and ad hoc pricing changes, including CPI and OPI increases, applying them accurately across billable line items and completing them by their effective dates. Escalate contract questions and unclear pricing scenarios to the Business Systems Manager rather than assuming.
• Assigned division support – Serve as the day-to-day business applications point of contact for an assigned group of business divisions and plant locations, coordinating with sales, operations, and billing on account, pricing, and system-related needs.
• End-user support – Own and resolve application support tickets supporting the day-to-day work of end users. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and requests, working with end users, technical teams, and vendor partners through to closure. Set up new user access and maintain customer web portal accounts.
• Training – Train end users at corporate and plant locations on system functionality, new features, and standard processes.
• Data validation – Perform data validation using various reports generated from the systems, identifying and correcting data quality issues before they reach billing, operations, or the customer.
• Reporting – Support end-user, internal stakeholder, and customer reporting needs through use of existing reporting resources or development of new reports, including reports that support pricing updates, account review, and data validation.
• Process, documentation, and projects – Support the Business Systems Manager in efforts to establish, document, and maintain standardized processes, procedures, workflows, and best practices; maintain records of system changes and incidents; and participate in software enhancements, upgrades, implementations, and system conversion projects, including testing, data validation, documentation, and end-user training.
• Confidentiality – Handle customer, contract, and pricing information in accordance with Company policy and applicable customer confidentiality obligations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in application support, business applications, systems data administration, or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise business applications such as ERP, billing, or route/service management systems.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy when working with customer, contract, and pricing data, and the discipline to escape unclear situations rather than assume.
• Experience working in a ticket-driven support environment, with the ability to prioritize a queue against service expectations.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and collaborate with all levels across the organization, as well as vendor partners and customers.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet competing deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ABSSolute, LinenMaster, or other linen, uniform, or textile services systems.
• Experience in healthcare services, linen and textile services, distribution, or another route-based service industry.
• Report writing capability—SQL, Crystal Reports, Power BI, or a comparable reporting tool.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and large-volume data cleanup.
• Experience with a formal ticketing or ITSM platform.
• Experience supporting system conversions, implementations, or the integration of newly acquired locations onto a common platform.
• Experience delivering end-user training to non-technical audiences across multiple sites.
