• 3+ years in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets.
• Strong experience in BRD, FRD, Gap Analysis, Process Mapping, and Requirement Management.
• Experience with SQL, Excel, Visio, Jira, and Confluence.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Asset Management stakeholders.
• Conduct requirement workshops with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Investment Operations, Risk Management, Compliance, and Finance teams.
• Translate business requirements into FRDs, BRDs, user stories, and process flows.
• Create business process models and workflow diagrams using Visio or similar tools.
• Support front-, middle-, and back-office processes across the investment lifecycle.
• Define data requirements for security master, market data, holdings, positions, transactions, and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement solutions for investment management platforms.
• Define reporting requirements for portfolio performance, analytics, risk exposure, compliance, and client reporting.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst with Asset Management domain expertise to bridge business requirements and technology solutions across investment management platforms, portfolio management systems, trading operations, and client reporting functions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, traders, operations teams, compliance, risk management, and technology teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and support strategic technology initiatives within the Asset Management organization.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Asset Management stakeholders.
• Conduct requirement workshops with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Investment Operations, Risk Management, Compliance, and Finance teams.
• Translate business requirements into detailed Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flows.
• Create business process models and workflow diagrams using Visio or similar tools.

Asset Management Functional Support

• Support front-office, middle-office, and back-office processes across the investment lifecycle.
• Analyze and document workflows related to:
• Trade Order Management
• Trade Execution
• Trade Settlement
• Investment Accounting
• Performance Measurement
• Compliance Monitoring
• Client Reporting
• Collaborate with business users to define data requirements for security master, market data, holdings, positions, transactions, and performance reporting.

Systems & Technology

• Work closely with technology teams to design and implement solutions supporting investment management platforms.
• Support integrations between:
• Order Management Systems (OMS)
• Data Warehouses
• Performance and Reporting Systems
• Analyze data flows, interfaces, and system dependencies across Asset Management applications.
• Assist in data mapping, data lineage, reconciliation, and validation activities.

Reporting & Analytics

• Define reporting requirements for portfolio performance, investment analytics, risk exposure, compliance monitoring, and client reporting.
• Work with data teams to develop dashboards and management reports.
• Utilize SQL and data analysis tools to support reporting and issue investigation.
