Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. seeks a seasoned Business System Staff Analyst for SCM Demand Planning in San Jose.

You will translate business requirements into system designs, maintain BlueYonder Demand Planning, and drive cross-functional SCM initiatives across forecasting, manufacturing, and inventory planning. The role requires 10+ years IT experience with business systems, 5+ years of BlueYonder implementation, and strong leadership in Agile environments.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in MIS, Business Administration, CS, or an IT/SCM related subject.
  • 10+ years of IT experience with business systems.
  • 5+ years implementing/integrating BlueYonder Demand Forecasting/ESP/OP.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business system requirements into design specifications and configurations.
  • Maintain and enhance Demand Planning solutions including BlueYonder.
  • Apply SCM forecasting, manufacturing, and inventory planning best practices across multiple business areas.
  • Ensure integration between BlueYonder Demand Planning with upstream and downstream systems including Datawarehouse, Databases, Reporting, Applications.
  • Provide clear instructions and specifications to development teams for solutions requiring code work.
  • Assist with Unit testing of solutions, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing, Work with third party vendors and contractors as needed for major projects, maintain oversight on all project related expenses and budget.
  • Create User Stories and acceptance criteria and work with other technical teams to ensure technical and business needs are determined seamlessly.
  • Independently and effectively organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines.
  • Demonstrable ability to make decisions and collaborate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership characteristics within the group and broader IT organization.
  • Coach and mentor other individual contributors on technologies and business processes.
  • Serve as technical solutions lead on large transformational SCM Projects.
  • Leverage prior experience to provide direction to both functional and technical resources, helping match work efforts to individuals.
  • Participate in cross functional projects related to business processes such as: SAP, Order management, Channel management, Commerce, Scheduling, Supply Chain planning, Reporting, and Finance.
  • Work with Iterative Agile Methodologies, Waterfall methodologies and Test - Driven Development.

Business System Staff Analyst, SCM Demand Planning

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Part of the Supply Chain Management IT team, responsible for translating business system requirements into design specifications, system configurations, and solutions for purchased and home-grown applications.
  • Maintain, sustain, upgrade and enhance existing Demand Planning Solutions including BlueYonder Demand Planning.
  • Apply Supply chain Demand Forecasting, Manufacturing planning and Inventory planning best in class solutions across multiple business areas.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/MS degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or an IT/SCM related subject.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT working with business systems.
  • 5+ years of implementing / integrating JDA(BlueYonder) Demand Forecasting / CDP / Enterprise Supply Planning (ESP) / Order Promising (OP).
  • A solid track record of being an expert in designing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain planning solutions Data-driven decision maker, able to effectively communicate abstract/complex interactions of systems, processes and people.
  • Able to establish effective working relationships with various levels in the organization and has the influence to drive team players to action and commitment.
  • Great organizational skills and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Ability to pivot quickly when core strategies and plans change.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $183,080 to $251,735. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
