Job summary

Blattner Company is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to influence decision making through clear explanations of policies and system capabilities. The role supports an Agile team, writes technical stories, and helps improve core business processes across the portfolio of systems.

You will translate business discussions into precise requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and resolve system issues to keep operations efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or other related field, or combinations of related job experience and/or education training required.
• Two or more years of progressive Business System Analysis experience required.

Responsibilities

• Writes technical stories for the various business areas and applications while working closely with the business.
• Provides a strategic and operational focus on core systems by initiating and supporting business process improvements and efficiencies/LEAN related to the business system.
• Utilizes the business system to eliminate administrative tasks, improve functionality, empower employees to ensure teams are utilizing the business system to the greatest extent possible.
• Serves as an established and productive professional for system related issues including researching and resolving business system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws.

Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE Influences others through explanation of facts, policies and practices related to Blattner Company’s portfolio of business systems, including but not limited to management of recurring system related tasks, complex analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation of difficult, but not typically complex solutions. This will be done by using superb analytical skills to understand the capabilities of the business system, company processes, and current system setup.

STEP INTO THE ROLE Works in a shared services model on the BSA team that supports Products and Processes that are difficult, but not typically complex impacting Blattner’s portfolio of business systems leveraging an Agile methodology. Writes technical stories for the various business areas and applications while working closely with the business. Provides a strategic and operational focus on core systems by initiating and supporting business process improvements and efficiencies/LEAN related to the business system. Utilizes the business system to eliminate administrative tasks, improve functionality, empower employees to ensure teams are utilizing the business system to the greatest extent possible. WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or other related field, or combinations of related job experience and/or education training required.
• Two or more years of progressive Business System Analysis experience required.

• Knowledge of/experience working with the JD Edwards application preferred.

$75,553.00 - $109,552.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
