Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a capable IT professional to analyze business information, document system requirements, and implement enhancements across departments in Lake Worth, TX. The role emphasizes end-user support, testing, and security best practices.

You will build relationships with city departments, evaluate third-party applications, and maintain data models while ensuring robust documentation and testing before deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of related working experience in Information Technology or a related area.
• Working knowledge of enterprise-class server OS, relational databases, enterprise hardware, virtualization, and client-server concepts.
• Ability to document system requirements, evaluate third-party software, and implement new systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and integration with other systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test scripts and conduct thorough testing of new and modified applications prior to implementation
• Administer application security, configuration, maintenance and setup
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining industry and technology best practices including NIST, CISA

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and integrate with other application systems
• Maintain current Florida driver’s license.
• MCSE, CompTIA, A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications are a plus.
