Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, business education, or related field with student teaching or practicum
• One year of classroom instruction experience in a business-related subject
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA
• PA residency required
• Background check and CJIS compliance

Responsibilities

• Teach business subjects such as keyboarding, business math, recordkeeping, English, computer software, and office management
• Evaluate learners through pre- and post-testing, assignments, and exams to measure progress and determine placement
• Develop lesson plans and adapt materials to meet individual needs while supporting life skill development
• Update education files, track attendance, manage inventory, and process classroom-related paperwork
• Maintain a safe learning environment by monitoring behavior, enforcing rules, and applying appropriate corrective actions
