Job summary

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the business members in delivering comprehensive and customized business banking products and solutions tailored to the financial needs and circumstances of business members.
• Greets and interviews existing and prospective business members. Evaluate their business needs and provide assistance with the member's selection of business services. Opens business accounts, performs business account maintenance, cross-sells products and services, assists with any additional products or services that business members may need, including, but not limited to; online banking, bill pay, and ordering checks.
• Keeps informed of trends and developments in the business market, as well as the changing rules and regulations pertaining to business accounts. Keeps abreast and complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures of all business products offered. Complete online regulatory and compliance training as required.
• Provides guidance to other Credit Union employees in assisting business account member regarding business products and services.
• Provide suggestions for streamlining business account services and processes; assist in completing projects and reports as assigned.

Education Requirements

• Preferred - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Business or relevant discipline

Experience Requirement

• 2 Years - Financial Industry experience with an emphasis on business banking - Required
• 1 Year - Lending experience - Required

• Learn and apply information, on a wide range of Credit Union products, services and regulatory compliance requirements, in order to assess member situations and develop solutions.
