Job summary

RBC Wealth Management is seeking a Senior Branch Service Manager/ Registered Client Associate in Edmonds, WA. The role combines player‑coach leadership with hands-on client service, ensuring branch operations run smoothly and compliance is maintained.

You will supervise staff, onboard accounts, and manage client transactions while building strong client relationships and ensuring security and efficiency within the branch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or job related experience.
• 2+ years of financial services experience with knowledge of industry rules and regulations.
• Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) and Series 9/10 (or 8).
• Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Attention to detail and drive to improve branch efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch staff and operations, onboarding, training, and motivating staff, providing work direction and resolving issues; escalate to Complex management as needed.
• Ensure communication of policy and procedural changes affecting branch employees.
• Onboard new accounts, record securities, and ensure proper transmission to Complex main office and Minneapolis per RBC procedures.
• Ensure security of the branch cage and contents by keeping it locked and restricting access.
• Assist clients with account questions, facilitate transfers, complete trades, and process checks, wires and ACHs promptly.

Senior Branch Service Manager/ Registered Client Associate is a player‑coach role, acting as the primary liaison between the Complex management team and the branch on operational matters by modeling, encouraging and developing a positive and productive work environment to foster a strong team culture within the branch.

What will you do?

• Oversee branch staff and operations to keep branch running smoothly including onboarding, training and motivating branch staff, providing work direction, and resolving issues pertaining to staff supervision and/or escalating to Complex management team.
• Ensure the effective communication of all policy and procedural changes and other issues that impact the branch employees and their ability to effectively perform their jobs.
• Onboard new accounts, accurately record all securities and/or coupons received from clients and ensure they are credited to the proper accounts and quickly and accurately transmitted to the Complex main office and Minneapolis following all required branch, complex and RBC procedures for handling client securities.
• Ensure the security of the branch cage and its contents by keeping it locked at all times and prohibiting unauthorized personnel in the cage area.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients by assisting them and answering account questions; facilitate the transfer of funds and securities, complete trades in client accounts, and process checks, wires and ACH's in a timely manner.

• 2+ years of financial services experience with a solid knowledge of industry rules and regulations
• Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) and Series 9/10 (or 8)
• Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills

The expected salary range for this particular position is $49,000 - $77,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
