The role will also support the delivery of Internal Audit and management remediation commitments related to business resilience. This is a hands‑on program management role requiring the ability to translate strategy and audit requirements into practical methodologies, accountable workstreams, measurable outcomes, and sustainable business practices.

Program Governance

  • Develop and maintain the BCM operating model, program charter, policies, procedures, methodologies, standards, and annual program plan.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence and automation to strengthen business resilience capabilities, including risk identification, scenario analysis, business impact analysis, crisis preparedness and response.
  • Serve as principal program lead for the BCM system and associated program data.
  • Coordinate alignment across Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Technology Resilience, Cybersecurity Incident Response, Manufacturing and Operational Technology resilience, Supply Chain resilience, Enterprise Risk Management, and other related programs.
  • Translate Internal Audit, regulatory, and management findings into structured remediation plans with defined owners, milestones, dependencies, evidence requirements, and target outcomes.
  • Monitor remediation progress, challenge delays or gaps, elevate material risks, and prepare regular status updates for program and executive governance bodies.
  • Design and facilitate discussion‑based and operational exercises that test governance, plans, recovery strategies, communication methods, dependencies, and decision‑making.
  • Establish an exception‑management process for business areas unable to meet BCM standards or documented recovery requirements.
  • Maintain defensible evidence supporting program implementation, control operation, management oversight, and remediation closure.
  • Establish a consistent after‑action process, including observations, root causes, accountable corrective actions, target dates, validation evidence, and closure approval.
  • Analyze exercise and incident results to identify recurring or enterprise‑wide weaknesses.
  • Develop executive dashboards covering BIA coverage, plan quality, exercising, recovery capability gaps, overdue actions, exceptions, and remediation performance.
  • Prepare regular program reports that identify trends, systemic risks, decisions required, and areas requiring leadership intervention.
  • Create guidance, templates, toolkits, and communications that help business teams meet BCM requirements consistently.
  • Champion responsible adoption of AI‑enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve resilience insights, accelerate decision‑making, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the business resilience program.
  • Represent the BCM program in governance forums, audits, assessments, major projects, and relevant risk discussions.

  • Maintain an enterprise inventory of dependencies, including people, technology, data, facilities, suppliers, operational technology, equipment, utilities, logistics, and interdependent processes.
  • Analyze BIA results to identify concentrations of risk, single points of failure, conflicting recovery requirements, and systemic dependencies.
  • Facilitate alignment between business‑defined recovery requirements and Technology Resilience application tiering, IT contingency planning, recovery strategies, and testing priorities.
  • Escalate material gaps between required recovery outcomes and demonstrated recovery capabilities.
