Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Business Process Technology Senior Analyst in a hybrid work arrangement in Colorado. You will formulate and define business process systems scope, translate user needs into system requirements, and guide junior analysts while addressing complex technology challenges.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and drive solutions across IT tools and business processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• 7-8 years of experience
• Complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR) as applicable

Responsabilidades

• Gather and document complex business process technology needs
• Provide application/solution development support for IT tools and business processes
• Deliver training materials on best practices for technology components
• Facilitate adoption of best practices and policies for tools across projects
• Collaborate with business SMEs to define tech requirements for custom and off-the-shelf solutions
• Coordinate with clients to capture user requirements and improvement recommendations
• Lead cross-divisional teams on business cases and ROI analyses
• Work with BV organizations to ensure quality end-user support for network and application tech
• Liaise with third-party providers on project initiatives and issue resolution
• Act as lead, providing direction and performance management to BPTA and Associates

The Opportunity

As the Business Process Technology Sr Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:

• Under general direction, formulate and define business process systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
• Guide and advise less-experienced Business Systems Analysts. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment

In this role, you will report to the Business Process Technology Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather/understand/outline complex business process technology needs and document technology requirements
• Provide application/solution development support (requirements, design and production support) for Information Technology tools and business processes
• Deliver training and educational materials related to best practices for leveraging key technology components
• Effectively facilitate the implementation of best practices and policies for leveraging existing tools utilized throughout various projects and programs
• Work with business Subject Matter Experts to understand business process and technical requirements for custom development as well as shrink wrapped software solutions
• Working with internal and external clients to understand user provided business requirements for application and process related assessments as well as improvement recommendations
• Lead cross divisional teams responsible for collecting information on Business Cases and Return on Investment Analysis
• Work with other B&V organizations to ensure quality application support and delivery to the end‑user for a variety of network and application related technologies
• Collaborate with 3rd party service providers to execute on project related initiatives and address technology issues
• Acts in capacity of a “lead person”and has supervisory peformance management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction. Positions providing direction: BPTA and Associates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology or Computer Science preferred.

Final compensation is determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, internal alignment, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
