Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct comprehensive reviews, analyses, and reengineering of business processes and provide DoW subject matter expertise
  • Ingest and validate process artifacts and models.
  • Perform analysis on business or systems processes to identify opportunities for process automation, improvement, and increased efficiency and auditability and provide advice and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including USTRANSCOM, JDDE, and other JTMS contractors, to ensure accurate process capture, validate requirements and gain stakeholder buy‑in.
  • Identify and address gaps between current processes and solution capabilities, recommending alternatives to fill these gaps.
  • Leverage Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop process models, capture business rules, decision logic, exception handling, and end‑to‑end process flows.
  • Support the implementation of reengineered processes and participate in user experience reviews, testing, training, and change management efforts to promote adoption of standardized processes and tools.
  • Monitor and measure the performance and effectiveness of reengineered processes using established KPIs and other metrics.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Secret security clearance or US Citizen with ability to successfully pass Tier 1 investigation to obtain Secret clearance upon hire
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation & Logistics, mathematics, statistics, business, law, computer science, engineering, physical/applied sciences or management discipline such as business administration, accounting, finance, economics or management information technology
  • 7+ years of general experience in Business Process Reengineering, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Problem Solving or in a related area
  • 4+ years of in‑depth functional experience within USTRANSCOM Operations and DoD Transportation Systems
  • 2+ years of general knowledge of Defense Transportation System regulations and the DOTMLPF‑P framework
  • Experience with process mapping and analysis tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work as a team member in a diverse group to include government and military personnel
  • Strong analytical, communication (oral and written), problem‑solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • High attention to detail, particularly with documentation and reporting

  • Familiar with Agile methodologies
