Qualifications

• Five or more years experience as a designer or production artist in a corporate environment

Responsibilities

• Produce print, digital media, and finishing designs for brochures, ads, announcements, logos, newsletters, flyers, invitations, websites, and HTML emails
• Collaborate with Graphic Designers to help execute their vision across mediums
• Finish designs and meet deadlines
• Use desktop publishing and image editing tools to create collateral for promotional efforts
• Translate complex business needs into clear print or on-screen communications
• Promote brand identity standards and ensure consistency across materials
• Participate in project strategy and brainstorming sessions
• Stay current with new design techniques and technologies to improve processes
• Enter and maintain accurate information in agency management systems
• Other duties as assigned

Summary

Responsible for producing print, digital media, and finishing designs for in-house design team. Creatively collaborate with in-house design team to ensure alignment with corporate business strategies and specific industry marketing needs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Production design for brochures, advertisements, announcements, logos, newsletters, flyers, invitations, web sites, digital media communications (including HTML email), tradeshow exhibits, and presentations.
• Partner with Graphic Designers to help them execute their vision in a variety of mediums.
• Responsible for finishing designs and meeting finishing deadlines.
• Utilize desktop publishing tools and image editing, print design, sketching and graphic design techniques to produce creative print and digital media collateral for the organizations promotional efforts.
• Translate complex business and marketing needs into simple, elegant communications that are effective either in print or on-screen, or both.
• Promote brand identity standards and maintain consistency of established standards while striving to interpret them in inventive and meaningful new ways.
• Participate and contribute forward-thinking design solutions or ideas during project strategy and/or team brainstorming sessions.
• Stay abreast of new design industry techniques and/or technologies that will result in process improvement.
• Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enter and maintain complete and accurate information).
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or Advertising or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) or more years experience providing production support at a digital/advertising agency
• Five (5) or more years experience as a designer or production artist in a corporate environment

Skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud products (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Proficiency with Photoshop including color correction expertise and photo manipulation (collages, composites, etc.)
• Strong understanding of composition and typography
• Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on skills in PowerPoint
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong desire for personal achievement, a positive attitude, and a passion to be on a growing team
• Good problem solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
• Ability to handle multiple projects, different creative personalities, and demanding clients while demonstrating patience
• Ability to prioritize a demanding workload while meeting deadlines and remaining within budget
• Ability to articulate ideas and solutions to non-visual colleagues
• Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
• Ability to demonstrate pride in their work
