Félix is seeking a Business Operations Senior Associate in Miami to act as the strategic and analytical engine guiding critical business decisions. You will translate complex data into actionable narratives and bridge operations with AI capabilities across the company.

We expect 4–7 years in high-growth environments with strong SQL/Excel skills, experience building BI dashboards, and a passion for solving ambiguous problems with ownership and impact.

• Structured, first-principles thinker who frames complex problems.

About the Role

As a Business Operations Senior Associate, you will be the strategic and analytical engine driving critical business decisions. You will bridge the gap between complex data and actionable execution. You won’t just pull numbers; you will pressure‑test them, craft compelling narratives for our founders, and proactively identify friction points across the business.

Crucially, you will act as the connective tissue between Business Operations and cross‑functional initiatives across the entire company. As part of streamlining how we work, you will also bridge the gap between our business data and our AI capabilities—performing deep analysis and structuring your outputs so that advanced AI tools (like Claude and Gemini) can reliably read, interpret, and build upon your work. We are looking for a strong operator—someone who can frame ambiguous problems from first principles, align multiple teams, and drive solutions through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Executive Reporting & Data Storytelling: Translate highly ambiguous, complex business questions into structured, evidence‑backed narratives. You will own the creation of founder‑ready analysis, board decks, and company‑wide presentations that drive rapid executive decision‑making.


• Analytical Rigor & Data Ownership: Serve as the ultimate custodian of the team’s data hygiene. You will write optimized SQL queries, conduct deep root‑cause analysis on core business metrics, and build high‑quality BI dashboards that function as Félix's single source of truth.


• Bridging Data and AI Scaling: Structure and translate traditional, messy business reporting into clean, logical formats optimized for AI consumption. You will ensure our data layouts allow advanced LLMs (like Claude and Gemini) to seamlessly ingest info and generate reliable, scalable insights.


• OKR Management & Proactive Risk Mitigation: Own and maintain the company OKR scoreboard, using data to flag goal slippage or cross‑functional risks early. You will proactively identify operational bottlenecks and design immediate, actionable solutions before they escalate.

Requirements

• Experience & Profile: 4–7 years of experience in high‑growth startups, management consulting, investment banking, or specialized BizOps roles. Series A–C experience is a significant plus.


• Strategic Problem Framing: Structured, first‑principles thinker who knows how to frame a complex problem, not just answer a pre‑defined question.


• Data Storytelling: Demonstrated ability to craft executive‑level decks and compelling data narratives.


• Analytical Rigor: You are a "Power User" of SQL and Excel. You don’t just report data; you derive insights that change the course of the business. Comfortable working directly with data to define metrics, identify bottlenecks, and prioritize where the focus should be based on impact. A background in Engineering (Industrial, Process, etc.) is preferred. Hands‑on experience building and maintaining dashboards within a modern BI stack.
