About Us

AmpliFi is a tech-enabled Operational Finance firm. In our view, there are three types of finance orientations – accounting, transactions and operational. We orient ourselves around the operational aspect of finance. Our personnel are comprised of CFAs, business analysts and developers. We define operational finance predominantly through three disciplines – financial planning (FP&A), sales and operational planning (S&OP) and business intelligence (Analytics). The objective of operational finance is to control the economic environment of a business through process, technology, and people (ours and our client’s). Controlling the environment means defining the non-financial drivers that build into financial results, getting the team to understand those drivers with operational reporting and planning and aligning incentives toward success.

About This Position

AmpliFi is currently a 15‑employee and growing firm. This position is the administrative arm of AmpliFi and has the following three primary areas of responsibility:

Firm Operations
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative and operational activities across human resources, accounting, tax functions, vendor relationships and banking relationships
  • Coordinate with outsourced partners for bookkeeping, payroll, compliance and filings
  • Maintain internal administrative systems, documentation and workflows to ensure operational excellence
  • Support client onboarding and project setup, ensuring smooth handoffs between sales and delivery teams
Executive Support
  • Manage CEO’s calendar, schedule and priorities, anticipating needs and ensuring preparation
  • Draft correspondence, prepare meeting materials and track follow‑ups and action items
  • Serve as a communications bridge between the CEO, internal team and external partners
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive matters
Project and Process Management
  • Drive accountability on key internal initiatives; ensuring timelines, deliverables and follow‑up
  • Support internal meetings, reporting rhythms and cross‑functional coordination
  • Continuously seek to improve processes for efficiency, clarity and consistency
Major Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • MBA preferred

Typical candidate:

A sharp, organized MBA could excel in this role if they are proactive, adaptable and eager to learn. It’s a hands‑on position that offers direct exposure to the executive decision‑making and firm‑building, making it an ideal position leading toward future Controller or Chief Operating Officer path.
