Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. Our Business Operations team works across business lines and functional organizations to solve high-priority, ambiguous challenges and build the analytical and operational muscles needed to support rapid growth.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Business Operations Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of operations, strategy, and data, turning messy, complex operational challenges into structured data to inform high‑stakes business decisions.

Your primary focus will be producing high‑quality, repeatable data analysis and synthesis to enable informed, data‑backed decision‑making across leadership and cross‑functional teams. You will get hands‑on with our data architecture—leveraging modern enterprise data platforms and analytical tools to establish reliable sources of truth, build intuitive dashboards, and translate quantitative findings into strategic narratives for executive audiences.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Build Repeatable Analytics Workflows: Design, execute, and automate high‑quality, repeatable data models and analytical pipelines to track critical operational, business, and financial metrics.
  • Drive Business Decision‑Making: Partner closely with leadership and functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, evaluate operational trade‑offs, and guide strategic decisions through data synthesis.
  • Data Visualization & Dashboarding: Develop clear, self‑service dashboards and visualization frameworks that equip functional teams with the tools and metrics to monitor and improve their processes.
  • Executive Storytelling: Translate complex analyses into clean, executive‑ready presentations, reports, and narratives, with results presented directly to senior leadership teams.
  • System & Tool Deep‑Dives: Work deeply within our data tools and business infrastructure (including Salesforce, Oracle, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, and other core enterprise systems) to execute scrappy analyses on short timelines and build robust data pipelines over the long term.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Proactively identify friction and process bottlenecks across the organization, using quantitative analysis to drive sustainable operational solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in Business Operations, Business Analytics, Strategy & Operations, Management Consulting, Banking, or a similar analytical operating role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Business Analytics and Data Visualization: Proven track record of structuring ambiguous operational problems, manipulating large datasets, and presenting data visually to influence decisions.
  • Enterprise Data Tooling: Hands‑on experience querying and working within modern data and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, SQL, or equivalent enterprise data environments).
  • High Fluency in Excel & PowerPoint: Advanced capability in Excel (complex modeling, pivot tables, data manipulation) and PowerPoint (building polished, executive‑ready narrative decks).
  • High Ownership & Bias for Action: You are self‑driven, hyper‑organized, and detail‑oriented; you step into gaps proactively and follow through from insight to execution.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill sophisticated quantitative insights clearly to senior leadership and diverse cross‑functional teams.
  • Security & Compliance: Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance due to access to export‑controlled information.
  • Willing to travel as necessary (up to 25%)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience operating within defense technology, aerospace, manufacturing, government contracting, or fast‑scaling tech environments.
  • Prior experience building data pipelines, transforms, or front‑end applications within Palantir Foundry or Databricks.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Oracle, or other relevant ERP, MRP, or CRM systems.
