Job summary

Associated Eye Care is seeking a dedicated Business Office Representative to handle revenue cycle activities and provide exceptional patient service. The role requires knowledge of CPT/ICD10 coding and insurance processing, with an emphasis on accurate claim submission and follow-up.

Expected compensation is hourly, with benefits including health/dental insurance and a 401(k) plan. The candidate should be flexible to work at multiple locations as needed and maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding and medical billing workflows.
• Understanding of health insurance plans (HMO, PPO, Commercial, Gov’t programs, Medicare).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Process charges, payments, and adjustments accurately.
• Submit claims and perform follow-up to maximize payment.
• Manage prior authorizations and track authorization status.
• Handle patient accounts and inquiries with professionalism.
• Liaise with provider credentialing service and clinic as needed.
