Responsibilities

• Maintains lesson plans as required.
• Plans and implements an instructional program within the classroom in line with Wayne Board of Education policies and NJ state standards.
• Develops lesson plans and materials to reach all students.
• Plans age-appropriate activities meeting diverse needs and IEP requirements.
• Maintains records of student progress.
• Differentiates instruction to support individual student needs.
• Maintains a productive, respectful classroom environment.
• Communicates progress to students and parents/guardians as required.
• Collaborates with colleagues to plan lessons and support all students.
• Keeps up with District computer programs relevant to the position.
