Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Business Management Analyst – Pricing and Estimating in Linthicum, MD. The role focuses on subcontract price/cost analyses to support proposals and negotiations, working within the SPCA group and across Pricing & Estimating, Global Supply Chain, and PMO.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2+ years of financial experience, strong Excel skills, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of financial work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts, VBA).
• US citizenship is required.
• Understanding of Government Compliance concepts (FAR/DFARS).
• General proposal review experience and/or cost analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete supplier proposal compliance reviews and cost analyses (direct labor, materials, ODC, indirect costs, profit).
• Support mission systems proposal activity and subcontract negotiations for PO execution.
• Collaborate with Pricing and Estimating, Global Supply Chain, PMO, and DCMA.

This position offers the 9/80 Schedule.What You’ll get to Do:Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation is seeking a Subcontract Pricing/Cost Analyst (A02) to join the Northrop Grumman Mission System Sector, Pricing and Estimating Organization. The successful applicant will become part of the sector Subcontract Price Cost Analysis (SPCA) group and will be responsible for the completion of required subcontractor cost analyses, supporting both Mission Systems proposal activity and subcontract negotiations for purchase order execution. This position will work closely with Pricing and Estimating, Global Supply Chain, Program Management office, and DCMA.Responsibilities include but are not limited to completion of supplier proposal compliance review and the comprehensive review of all elements of cost (ex. direct labor, material, ODC, indirect costs, profit, etc.) to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Northrop Grumman procedures. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
