Software Placement Group is seeking a mid-senior level Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join a prominent large law firm’s Business Litigation Practice in Washington, DC. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-exposure trial matters within a collaborative and dynamic litigation team.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, active DC/MD/VA bar admissions, 4+ years of substantive commercial litigation experience, and excellent written and oral

Qualifications

• 4+ years of substantive commercial, business litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with high-stakes business litigation matters across industries.
• Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
• Draft and argue motions and briefs in state and federal courts.
• Participate in trial preparation, hearings, and courtroom proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and litigation teams to develop case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and internal teams.
