Job summary

Federal Express Corporation invites qualified students to join a 10-week hybrid internship in Memphis, TN, with on-site Monday-Thursday and remote Fridays. Open to undergraduates and recent graduates, compensation is $25/hour (undergrad) or $30/hour (grad).

A $2,000 relocation stipend is available for moving over 50 miles. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, graphic design, content development, research, and data analysis abilities, plus familiarity with MS Office and supply chain

Job description

As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study.

Essential Functions

• Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.
• Participates in various networking and/or community service events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Degree: Business Degree or related discipline.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to work productivity and productively, both independently and as a part of a team.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills.

Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.

Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management.

Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong communication, graphic design, content development, research, and data analysis skills. Knowledge of supply chain and logistics, AI tools, project coordination, and the ability to collaborate across teams is preferred. Support Global Customer Solutions through content design, communications, research, and data analysis. Collaborate with teams to improve processes, develop customer-focused solutions, and support sales growth and supply chain initiatives.

Pay Transparency:

Summer 2027 Internship: Availability to work 40 hours/week for the 10-week program, June 7–August 13, 2027. Pay:

Salary is $25/hour for undergraduate students and $30/hour for graduate students. A $2,000 stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles for an on-site or hybrid internship experience.

Additional Details:

This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, with employees required to work onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius or be willing to relocate.
