Symphony Corp is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Architect/Developer consultant to assist the University of Wisconsin-Madison in implementing OBIEE 12c. The role requires designing and developing complex solutions, leading implementation, and ensuring data access for users.
The successful candidate should have extensive experience with OBIEE 12c, data warehousing, and be able to work independently while mentoring peers. Local candidates are required for this position.

As a top academic and research institution, the UW-Madison is seeking to provide robust business intelligence support for the teaching, research, community service and administrative missions of the University.

Long-term vision:
Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining. Perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. Develop processes and procedures for entering information into data warehousing systems and for ensuring reliability of information entered. Seek continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data. Recognized as expert in field, knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices. Conducts the most complex and vital work critical to the organization. Works without supervision with complete latitude for independent judgment. May mentor less experienced peers and display leadership as needed. Typically requires 15 or more year’s experience or equivalent education.
