Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Analyst to join our growing BI team. You’ll work with stakeholders to translate business needs into metrics and dashboards that drive decisions across the bank.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data analysis and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake, with a strong ability to communicate complex results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Partners with stakeholders, process specialists, and users to elicit and document business requirements.
• Partners with business teams to define and document business requirements for new metrics and reports.
• Research and develop mapping documents that will aid developers in their efforts.
• Provides technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools.
• Identifies and analyzes errors and inconsistencies in the data and provides timely resolutions.
• Creates written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations.
• Teaches and advocates the use of business intelligence tools across levels of the organization.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of applications, methodologies, and trends.
• Analyze existing systems or procedures and identifies technical or procedural improvements.
• Serves as liaison between BICoE pod and other pods/business units.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or additional relevant work experience
• 4+ years of related experience involving data analysis tools and techniques, writing software requirements and test specifications, using data to drive business decisions, and working with BI and other tooling (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Snowflake)

• Experienced at leveraging both structured and unstructured data sources
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelines
