Job summary

Menlo Ventures in San Francisco is seeking a data-driven analyst to measure and analyze business performance across all lines of business. You will design and automate reports and dashboards to provide timely insights for senior management.

With 3–5 years in analytics, you will apply SQL and data visualization tools to explore data, monitor key metrics, perform ad-hoc analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn findings into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in analytics, project management, strategy and/or tech consulting, or related fields; E-commerce a plus.
• Sharp critical thinking, strong analytical and numerical skills; good communication.
• Eager to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and other programming language; hands-on experience in data extraction, cleaning, preparation, and dashboard development.
• Highly energetic and self-motivated; willing to learn and work under pressure.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field of study.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert in using data to measure and analyze business performance in each lines of business

• Develop and automate reports, interactively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end analysis including data gathering, analysis, deliverables and presentations
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to drill down into business challenges, providing conclusions and advice based on data analysis
• Support projects on data projection, data analysis, performance tracking, and to summarize data analysis requirements
• Support colleagues to understand data insights and handle basic data analysis skills

• Perform ad-hoc analysis to drill down into certain business challenges, providing conclusions and advice based on data analysis


• Support projects on data projection, data analysis, performance tracking, and to summarize data analysis requirements


• Support colleagues to understand data insights and handle basic data analysis skills

Job Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications(must have):

• 3-5 years Experience in analytics, project management, strategy and/or tech consulting, or other related fields. Experience in E-commerce is a plus.
