Job summary

Atlantic Community Bankers Bank (ACBB) seeks a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will transform complex banking and operational data into actionable insights and scalable reporting solutions.

You will build dashboards, collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, and ensure data quality and governance in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or data engineering roles, preferably in banking or regulated industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field is preferred.
• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Azure data tools is highly desirable.
• Strong SQL skills and demonstrated ability to build dashboards with Power BI.

What You’ll Do:

As a Business Intelligence Data Analyst, you will support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will partner with business stakeholders to transform complex banking, financial, operational, risk, and compliance data into actionable insights and scalable reporting solutions.

Data Analytics & Business Insights

• Analyze banking, financial, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into analytical solutions
• Build and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports using Power BI
• Deliver timely, accurate, and meaningful insights to support strategic and operational decision-making

Data Engineering & Platform Management

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting and analytics
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows using Microsoft data platforms and related services
• Contribute to the design, build, and support of Microsoft-based data warehouse solutions and reporting layers
• Assist with documenting and maintaining reporting architecture, data flows, and technical processes

Data Quality, Governance & Compliance

• Validate data accuracy and reconcile datasets across systems to ensure reporting integrity
• Document data definitions, transformation logic, warehouse structures, business rules, and reporting processes
• Support regulatory, audit, and risk‑reporting needs common to banking environments
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend scalable, data‑driven solutions
• Promote strong data governance, standardization, and compliance practices across reporting environments

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

Basic Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or data engineering roles, preferably within banking, financial services, or another regulated industry;
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Finance, or a related field preferred

Technical Skills & Competencies:

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, or Azure data tools and familiarity with banking, financial, risk, or compliance data structures preferred
• Exposure to data modeling and business intelligence best practices preferred
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including query development, stored procedures, and data transformation
• Experience building dashboards and visualizations using Power BI
• Knowledge of Microsoft-based data platforms, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
• Understanding of data governance, reporting controls, and data quality
